About our team
At Alfa Metal Designers, our motto is simple: getting the job done. Based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, our family-owned business brings over 30 years of hands-on metal fabrication experience, teamwork, and dependable craftsmanship to every construction project.
More than 30 years of dedication
Alfa Metal Designers started over three decades ago with a true passion for custom metalwork. Led by Ludwig Ortiz, Owner and General Manager, aside his wife Frances Ortiz, what began with hands-on shop experience has grown into a trusted family enterprise. We bring time-tested expertise, clear communication, and pride in our trade to every build.
The skilled crew behind every build
Our operations depend on the dedication of our close-knit crew. Ludwig Jr. Ortiz and Geovani Ortiz bring precision and artistry as skilled metal fabrication specialists. Marcos Guzman directs our installations as supervisor, while Frances Ortiz, Office Manager, and Tere Ortiz, Administrator Support, keep every project organized and running smoothly.
Dependability and safety on every job site
Contractors and property owners rely on us for consistent attention to detail and proactive problem-solving. From custom shop fabrication to secure field installation, our team shows up ready to work safely, cleanly, and efficiently to deliver lasting results.
"Alfa Metal Designers consistently delivers top-notch craftsmanship. Their team arrives prepared, communicates every step of the way, and solves job-site challenges quickly."
